At Startup Weekend, you'll be immersed in an environment where startup magic, becomes startup reality.
Startup Weekend will help participants learn how to launch a business, a product, or service. It will also help participants explore their creativity, experience what it's like to create a business plan, learn how to pitch their idea and help them build an amazing network!
Agenda & Timetable:
Friday: 70-75 participants will have the opportunity to network, eat dinner, and pitch their ideas, participants will vote on the top ideas (excluding their own) and will form teams to compete for prizes to help launch their idea into a viable business.
Saturday: Teams validate ideas, research customers, create a business plan and work to build a prototype that demonstrates the potential of their business.
Sunday: Finishing touches are put on the business plans & prototypes, pitches are developed and rehearsed and the events culminates Sunday evening in a pitch competition where teams present their businesses and demonstrate their prototype to a panel of judges.
About Startup Weekend: Startup Weekends are 54-hour events designed to provide superior experiential education for technical and non-technical entrepreneurs. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through brainstorming, business plan development, and basic prototype creation, Startup Weekends culminate in Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups during the event and are able to collaborate with like-minded individuals outside of their daily networks. All teams hear talks by indus
